Hypodontia in general is not 'cured', the condition is 'managed'. Unfortunately as teeth never actually develop the purpose of treatment is to manage the remaining dentition to a satisfactory outcome. The 'ideal' outcome would be for the teeth not to have been missing in the first place !
Braces can close spaces and make the teeth of a better alignment. Where spaces cannot be closed fully a prosthodontist or restorative dentist may provide a replacement for the missing teeth. These replacements are not as good as natural teeth. They are distant in comparison unfortunately.
