Will treatment be painful ?

Generally treatment shouldn't be painful. If you are having braces fitted to move teeth then there may be some soreness soon after treatment which should ease over a few days. Where procedures are required for reshaping teeth with adhesive dentistry there is no need for numbing as there is no need to drill the teeth. If adhesive bridges (sticky bridges) are required all that is required in the majority of cases is an impression which takes a couple of minutes to set in your mouth.

If implants are required then local anaesthetic will be required which means the use of a needle. After implant surgery the mouth will be sore swollen and may bleed.
