Treatment can last from a few weeks to many years depending on the type of treatment provided, the complexity and in a lot of cases the number of missing teeth and the positions of the teeth that are present. The more difficult the position of the teeth the longer treatment is likely to last.
Orthodontics can take a few years to complete and in most cases will require lifelong retention of the position of the teeth on completion. Restorative Dentistry treatment is generally shorter in time but will also require the patient to maintain and dentists to monitor during the patients lifetime.
